Abstract
Three different methods of papain iodination/with chloramine-T, lactoperoxidase and conjugation with Bolton-Hunter reagent/were compared. The highest yield of125I-papain was obtained using lactoperoxidase which enables to achieve the highest immunoreactivity.125I-papain, labelled in this manner, is suitable for the radioimmunoassay of papain.
