Zusammenfassung
Die Korrelation zwischen Schluckart und Aufbau des Gesichtsschädels wurde an 60 Kindern untersucht. Die somatische Schluckart ist häufiger beim horizontalen-, die viscerale Schluckart beim vertikalen Wachstumstyp aufgetreten. Bei Kindern mit vertikalem Wachstumstyp und visceraler Schluckart fanden wir einen hochsignifikant verringerten Überbiß.
Summary
In 60 children the relationship between facial structures and different types of swallowing was studied. More tongue-thrust swallowers were found in the group with vertical craniofacial growth and there was also a significantly decreased overbite.
Résumé
Chez 60 enfants on a étudié la corrélation existant entre le type de déglutition et la structure de la face. La déglutition somatique est plus fréquente avec le type de croissance faciale horizontale et la déglutition viscérale avec le type de croissance verticale. Chez les enfants à type de croissance verticale et présentant une déglutition viscérale, nous avons trouvé une diminution de la supraclusion très significative.
