Abstract
Various Syrian cigarettes /Hamra long filter, Oreidt, Granata, Palmyra, Hamra short filter/ were analyzed for their210Po content.210Po was precipitated on a silver plate after chemical separation and measured by α-spectroscopy. The concentration values found for210Po ranged between 0.02 and 0.08 pCi g−1.
