Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein Zusammenhang zwischen dem Verhalten desα-Ketoglutarsäurespiegels einer Bakterienkultur in Rinderserum und der Virulenz des Bakterienstammes angegeben. Danach gehtim Verlauf der logarithmischen Wachstumsphase die Kurve derα-Ketoglutarsäurekonzentration (als Ausdruck einer gesteigerten Transaminaseaktivität) dem Invasionsvermögen parallel;nach AbschluΒ der logarithmischen Wachstumsphase gestattet der weitere Kurvenverlauf (infolge Hemmung desα-Ketoglutarsäureabbaues durch toxische Bakterienprodukte) eine Aussage über die Toxicität.
