One of the most important problems in improving the system of metrological servicing of flow-measuring devices is automation of the checking process. A lot of work has been done in this direction in recent years by specialists of different organizations. We draw the attention of readers to the beginning of this collection of articles wherein some questions connected with automation of the process of checking flow-measuring instruments are considered.
