Zusammenfassung
Cumarin hat bekanntlich einen wachst umsfördernden Einfluss. Im folgenden wurden Art und Weise seiner Aufnahme bei Helianthus-Hypokotyl-Segmenten untersucht. Es zeigte sich, dass praktisch das gesamte von den Segmenten aufgenommene Cumarin in destilliertes Wasser diffundieren kann.
Aus diesem Ergebnis und dem Einfluss von Temperatur, Anaerobiose und Cyanide auf die Grösse der Aufnahme wird geschlossen, dass Cumarin nur durch Diffusion in die Gewebe eindringt.
