Summary
The synthesis of aminoalkyl derivatives of 1-aza-2, 3; 5,6-dibenzocycloheptadiene (homoacridane) and 1-aza-4-thia-2, 3; 5,6-dibenzocycloheptadiene (homophenothiazine) is described. Salts of these bases possess high antihistamine and local anaesthetic activity.
