Zusammenfassung

Mit Hilfe der Immunofluorescenz wurde der Einfluß von Prednisolon auf in vitro Untersuchungen, die mit Poliomyelitisviren Typ I vorgenommen wurden, geprüft. Prednisolon in einer Konzentration von 0,1 und 0,2 mg/ml hat weder einen Einfluß auf die Virusadsorption noch auf dieintracelluläre Virusvermehrung. Prednisolon in einer Konzentration von 1,0 und 2,0 mg/ml verzögert die durch humane Antiseren eingeleitete Neutralisation des Poliomyelitisvirus.

Prednisolon in einer Konzentration von 0,2 mg/ml hemmt deutlich die durch Poliomyelitisviren angeregte Interferonbildung. Der Mechanismus der Prednisolonwirkung wird zur Diskussion gestellt.
