È stata messa in evidenza nella perilinfa di cavallo la presenza di notevole attività fosfoesosoisomerasica e latticodeidrogenasica. In rapporto al contenuto proteico tali attività enzimatiche risultano maggiori nella perilinfa che nel siero di sangue e nel liquor.
