Summary
On the occasion of the Swiss expedition to the Himalaya mountains, Ilford G 5- Nuclear Emulsion plates were brought up to an altitude of 8.000 m in order to measure the intensity of the nuclear component of cosmic rays. The number of stars obtained agree within the limits of error with other measurements at altitudes up to 5.000 m and above 25.000 m.
