Aus KulturenMortierella ramanniana var.angulispora (Naumov) Linnemann wurde 2,4-dihydroxy-3,5,6-trimethylbenzoesäure isoliert. Auf Grund seiner chemischen und physikalischen Eigenschaften wird ihm die Strukturformel I erteilt.
