L'analyse statistique de résultats d'expériences doit être faite en tenant compte de la «structure logique» de l'expérience en question. Ainsi, pour juger de l'effet de la castration sur la teneur en fer sérique d'étalons il convient de recourir à la méthode deGrandjean etLinder qui consiste à éliminer de l'erreur expérimentale les différences parfois considérables entre les animaux.
