Summary

One component of the group of vitamines required for the normal development of the larvæ ofTribolium confusum can be fully replaced by synthetic pteroyl glutamic acid (folic acid) at a level of 0,2γ per gram of diet. At least one further unknown factor contained in yeast is necessary.
