Typisierung von Poliomyelitisvirus-Stämmen sporadischer Erkrankungsfälle des Jahres 1953

Zusammenfassung

Die Verteilung der verschiedenen Typen des Poliomyelitisvirus bei sporadischen Erkrankungsfällen im Jahre 1953 wurde untersucht. Bei 15 Virusisolierungen konnten 9 mal der Typ 1 und 6mal der Typ 3 nachgewiesen werden. Im Gegensatz hierzu wurde bei den in unserem Laboratorium untersuchten Epidemien der Jahre 1951, 1952 und 1953 ausschließlich der Typ 1 gefunden.
