Zusammenfassung

Für die Ratte ist die Synthese von Nikotinsäureamid sowohl im Körpergewebe wie auch in der Darmflora sichergestellt. Die sogenannte «Tryptophan/Nikotinsäureamid-Umwandlung» kann bei dieser Tierart in Körpergewebe und Darmflora erfolgen. Für den Menschen ist die Bildung von Nikotinsäureamid nur durch die Darmflora bewiesen.
