Abstract
This case report describes a clinically significant infection of the left eye caused byChlamydia trachomatis, which showed corneal lesions. The acute clinical picture was combined with a general decline of health and an increase of the antibody titer against Chlamydia. The diagnostical and therapeutical procedures as well as the aetiology of this infection are discussed.
Zusammenfassung
Diese Fallbeschreibung dokumentiert eine klinisch signifikante, mit Ulcera marginalia einhergehende Infektion der Cornea des linken Auges bei einem 27 Jahre alten Patienten. Das Krankheitsbild trat akut auf, begleitet von einer Beeinträchtigung des Allgemeinbefindens und Serokonversion bezüglich der Chlamydien-KBR. Das diagnostische und therapeutische Vorgehen und die Aetiologie der Infektion werden diskutiert.
