Summary

The testes of hybrid mice (CBA × C57Bl) were irradiated with 1368 R of X-rays. Half of the animals received an intraperitoneal injection of 8 mg of AET before irradiation. Each week, 5 males of each group were sacrificed. Histological examination of the testes and the epididymus showed that AET is able to protect, to some extent, against testicle damage induced by X-rays.
