Es wird ein neuartiger Typ derSalmonella-Gruppe beschrieben, der bei Routineuntersuchungen von Küchenpersonal durch Dr.Gross, Krefeld, gezüchtet und in dieSalmonella-E-Gruppe eingereiht wurde. Der Stamm hat die diagnostische Seroformel I, III, XIX: l,w:y und trägt nach dem Ort seiner Isolierung die BezeichnungS. krefeld.
