Summary

The microbe emulsions are transformed into aerosols and projected on to a solid culture medium, which permits of obtaining isolated colonies, regardless of the variety of germs contained in the first culture. Each of these colonies contains only one variety of germs. The author describes an apparatus which allows this result to be obtained.

“Le séparateur de germes” makes easy the quantities of researches on the isolated cells taken in a microbe colony.
