Summary

In a first series of experiments we could show that cortisone inhibits the formation of rabbit antibodies against nephrotoxic duck serum. Approximately parallel thereto the tissue reaction of a diffuse glomerulonephritis is, if not entirely suppressed, none the less temporally and in regard to its intensity also essentially retarded. These experiments are being continued upon a broader basis.
