Summary
The A.D. Atebrin, Rivanol, Nitroacridin No. 3582 have a spasmolytic effect on the spontaneous activity of the isolated ileum of the guinea pig, also on contractions caused by histamine, acetylcholine BaCl2 and sensibilating protein.
The histamine suppressing effect of Rivanol and Atebrin is larger than that of acetylcholine.
The A.D. accelerate in concentrations of 10−6−10−5 the chronotropy and raise the inotropy, if the latter are decreased by acetylcholine or KCl.
The efficiency of A.D. on the isolated ileum and the isolated heart are compared with that of atropine, adrenalin, and antistin.
