Additional information

A substantial part of the ideas presented in this essay have already been published in 1955. The reason for this re-edition is to reach the more numerous, english reading, public, and to render these ideas in a more accessible form. The original work was expressed in a language and with a concatenation rigourous enough to permit a logical formalization, but for the sake of brevity it omitted explanations and some discussions which would help to understand the possible validity of our system of reference.
