Zusammenfassung
Es wird gezeigt, daß die Gallerthüllensubstanz des Seeigeleies, die vielleicht mit Fertilizin identisch ist, jedenfalls aber dieses enthält, wie Heparin auf die Koagulation des Blutes hemmend wirkt. Diese Wirkung wird durch Perjodatoxydation sowie durch saure Hydrolyse zerstört, nicht aber durch Erhitzung oder tryptische Spaltung.
