Es wurde ein statistisch gesicherter unterschiedlicher Serotoningehalt im Darmtraktus zweier unabhängig gezüchteter Rattengruppen von Sprague-Dawley Abstammung und ihre unterschiedliche Ansprechbarkeit auf die Serotonin entleerende Wirkung des Reserpins gefunden.
