Zusammenfassung
Die argininreiche Fraktion des Kalbsthymushistons (Fraktion 2a) wurde in zwei Komponenten zerlegt. Zusammensetzung und elektrophoretische Trennung der Komponenten (F2aI und F2aII), ebenso die Eigenschaften eines neuen, lipidgebundenen, serinreichen Histons wurden beschrieben.

The symbols used in this paper were originated by ProfessorJ. A. V. Butler's group and their original meaning was the order in which these fractions emerged from a carboxymethylcellulose column. Since then the methods for preparation of histone fractions have changed and the symbols lost their original significance.
