Gli autori studiando la ultrastruttura delle sinapsi del midollo spinale durante intossicazione stricnina non trovano nessuna differenza nei componenti sinaptici attribuibile al trattamento stricnico. Rilevano invece variazioni nella morfologia delle vescicole presinaptiche in relazione a differenti fissativi utilizzati.
