Individuelle Geruchsschwellenwerte für Azeton folgen einer trimodalen Kurve und stehen in Beziehung zur Fähigkeit, PTC zu schmecken. Diese Befunde deuten darauf hin, dass die Geruchsempfindlichkeitfür Azeton eine genetische Grundlage hat.
