Riassunto

L'etionina è capace di inibire l'aumentata attività metabolica del fegato sul pentobarbital e sul meprobamato indotta da un pretrattamento con fenobarbital o cloretone. Essa invece non inibisce l'induzione dell'aumento dell'eliminazione urinaria di vitamina C causata da un analoge prettamento con fenobarbital o clorotone. Si conclude che i meccanismi delle due induzioni non possono considerarsi identici.
