Summary

The Berne Härz-As (Ace of Heart) project is a randomized trial in changing cardiovascular risk factors, morbidity and subjective health. It further investigates to what extent psychosocial and somatic factors account for these health indicators in the course of at least 4 years. A pilot study conducted in two companies (N=620) indicates that the project is feasible and acceptable to both management and employees and that the intervention goals are justified.

Résumé

Le projet bernois Härz-As (l'as de c∄ur) est une étude randomisée visant la modification des facteurs de risques et la morbidité cardiovasculaire ainsi qu'une amélioration de la santé subjective. Il cherche également à élucider quels facteurs psychosociaux et somatiques sont capables d'expliquer les modifications de ces indicateurs de la santé au cours de quatre ans au moins. Une étude pilote effectuée dans deux entreprises (N=620) indique que ce projet est faisable et acceptable, à la fois pour les responsables et pour les ouvriers, et que les objectifs se justifient.
