Sommario
Summary
From the theory for steep variation states, the solutions corresponding to sinusoidal loading along an asymptotic line normal to the conjugate asymptotic set. Comparison with the discretized computation and with the theory for «quasi-shallow» shells is effected. Asymptotic expansions related to this theory indicate a convenient simplification in the complete eighth order boundary problem.
