Abstract
The effects of feeding animals with a toxic strain ofA. flavus was examined. The animals examined were ducklings, turkeys and rabbits. All of them showed loss of weight and mortality after feeding with aflatoxin.
The livers of those animals showed that aflatoxin caused pathological changes. This damage of the liver is the lethal effect of the aflatoxin.
