Sommario
In questo lavoro viene presentata una matrice di rigidezza sinusoidale per lo studio della biforcazione dell'equilibrio di strutture elasto-plastiche composte da elementi piani di spessore sottile.
Vengono usati i legami costitutivi della teoria incrementale della plasticità associati al potenziale di Mises.
Viene inoltre mostrato come la suddetta matrice possa essere usata per la determinazione delle tensioni e dei modi di biforcazione.
Vengono infine presentati alcuni esempi numerici con l'intento di mettere in evidenza il campo delle possibili applicazioni.
Summary
A general sinusoidal stiffness matrix for the buckling analysis of thin, prismatic flat-walled elastic-plastic structures is derived. The constitutive laws of the flow-theory of plasticity associated with smooth yield surfaces are used. The use of this stiffness matrix to predict the buckling stresses and the associated modes is illustrated and some numerical results are used to show the range of applications which can be covered.
