Sommario
Summary
Some restrictions on the response function of isotropic elastic solids under finite strain are discussed. These restrictions follow when a strong localization of the classical Hadamard condition of infinitesimal stability is adopted as an a priori inequality under certain side conditions which are not fullfilled by all of the possible strained states.
