In Übereinstimmung mit der Empfehlung vonBenjamin (1956) wird für das Sklerotium-Stadium vonEidam's Ctenomyces serratus der Name ‘Ct. serratus’ beibehalten. Für die GattungCtenomyces sensu strictu (Eidam)Gr. etSchw. und die Typen-ArtCt. serratus sensu strictu (Eidam)Gr. etSchw. werden die Diagnosen gegeben.
