Si considera il problema di una trave elastica a contatto unilaterale con un ostacolo soffice. Più precisamente, si calcolano i momenti flettenti nella trave e le posizioni dei punti dove la trave abbandona l'ostacolo.

Summary

We consider the problem of an elastic beam which is in unilateral contact with a soft obstacle. More precisely, we calculate the bending moments in the beam and the positions of the points where the beam leaves the obstacle.
