Zusammenfassung

  1. 1.

    Es wird eine Methode angegeben, nach der man Carcinomzellen unbegrenzt in vitro züchten kann.

  2. 2.

    Zum erstenmal ist es gelungen, Carcinomzellen in vitro unbegrenzt mit Erhaltung ihrer Bösartigkeit zu züchten.

  3. 3.

    Es ist überhaupt zum erstenmal gelungen, Gewebezellen von Säugetieren unbegrenzt zu züchten.

  4. 4.

    Carcinomzellen sind imstande, ihr Cytoplasma aus fremdem Material aufzubauen.

  5. 5.

    Die Bösartigkeit ist an die epithelialen Elemente gebunden und unabhängig von der Anwesenheit von Stromazellen.
