Abstract
We present the results of numerical simulation of transient processes at the leading edge of the accelerating voltage pulse, when the excitation of parasitic oscillations is most probable. The results obtained show the possibility of establishing stable one-mode high-efficiency generation in a 170 GHz/1 MW gyrotron for ITER.
