Zusammenfassung
Das wichtigste angiographische Kennzeichen von intrakavitären Herztumoren und Thromben sind Defekte in der Kontrastfüllung der Herzhöhlen. Im Verlauf vorliegender Untersuchung wurde eine eingehende Analyse dieser Füllungsdefekte vorgenommen, die nach der Art ihrer Entstehung in folgende Gruppen aufgeteilt werden konnten:

Echte Füllungsdefekte, hervorgerufen durch organische Erkrankungen in den Herzhöhlen,
-
2.
Pseudodefekte in der Kontrastfüllung,
-
3.
Defekte auffunktioneller Basis.
Dazu wurden 6 Beobachtungen mitgeteilt, die im einzelnen folgende Fälle demonstrieren: Myxom im linken Vorhof, das mit Erfolg operiert werden konnte, Myxom im rechten Vorhof, ausgedehnte Thrombose der Hinterwand des linken Vorhofes, Pseudodefekte durch kalzifizierten Annulus fibrosus und schließlich 2 Defekte auf funktioneller Basis, entstanden durch ausgiebigen Zustrom von kontrastlosem Blut in die kontrastgefüllten Herzhöhlen.
