Die Analyse des Druckes und der Strömung am Eingang einer Koronararterie ermöglicht die Bestimmung des Eingangswiderstandes dieser Arterie, dessen Verhalten beträchtlich von jenem aller anderen Arterien des Körpers abweicht Er wird daher hier als „scheinbarer” Eingangswiderstand bezeichnet. Ursache der Abweichung ist die durch die periodische Herzkontraktion bedingte Hemmung (und diastolische Freigabe) des peripheren Abflusses aus der Arterie, die sich im Verhalten des Eingangswiderstandes wie eine zusätzliche Energiezufuhr im Verlauf der Arterie auswirkt. Die Eigenschaften des scheinbaren Eingangswiderstandes werden mit Hilfe eines einfachen Modells dargestellt.

Summary

An analysis of instantaneous pressure and flow at the entrance of a coronary artery allows the calculation of the input impedance of this artery. The features of the input impedance of a coronary artery are quite different from the input impedance of all other arteries of the body and may, therefore, be called “apparent” input impedance. The reason for the difference is the periodic obstruction of outflow from the artery at the site of its peripheral resiatance by the contraction of the myocardium. The apparent input impedance of a coronary artery resembles one of a system containing an amplifier. An equation describing the main properties of the apparent input impedance was calculated with the aid of a simple model.
