Zusammenfassung

Die bisher mit der neuen subcutanen pH-Elektrode erzielten Ergebnisse bestätigen die Zuverlässigkeit dieser Methode, was die rein technischen Aspekte betrifft.

Die alltägliche klinische Benutzung ist dennoch mit verschiedenen Problemen belastet, welche baldigst gelöst werden sollten.

Summary

Preliminary results obtained with the new subcutaneous pH electrode confirm the reliability of this method as far as the purely technical aspects are concerned.

The routine clinical use is still burdened with several unsolved problems which should be worked out as soon as possible.
