Kardiologische Prävention erfordert neue Formen der Partnerschaft

Summary

Today, cardiologic prevention is subject of controversial discussion, not only among physicians. Reactions to that term range between the following two extremes: on the one hand, the opinion that medicine of the future will primarily be of preventive nature, and on the other hand, the suspicion that the present increase in discussion of that topic is only a transient fashion supported by certain health politicians. In this article, the proposition is being substantiated that successful cardiologic preventive measures call for new forms of partnership. It is being outlined which objectives and structures have to be pursued, why cardiologic prevention presents — not only for physicians 3-a «non-fascinating» topic, and finally, which forms of partnerships are offering themselves in cardiologic prevention.
