The relation of dwarf galaxies with bright barred galaxies in virgo cluster

  • A. T. Kalloglyan

On the basis of extensive observational material it is statistically demonstrated that dwarf galaxies appear more often around barred galaxies than around normal spiral galaxies. Moreover, the more barred spiral galaxies there are in a given region, the more dwarf galaxies are found there as well.
