Summary
The present stagnation is an overexplained phenomenon. Nothwithstanding the use of advanced methods to analyse the abundant facts, there remains room for different narratives. The author lists ten unresolved issues, where ‘views’ and ‘beliefs’ dominate the intellectual scene. Yet he manages to squeeze a kind of policy proposal from his overview, on which Keynesians and supply-siders might perhaps unite.
