Abstract
LetA be a finitely generated commutative ℤ-algebra with Krull dimensiond, and letπ be an arbitrary finite group. It is proved that the Steinberg groupSt n (Aπ) is finitely presented whenevern⩾4. If, in addition,n⩽d+3, andK 1 (Aπ) andK 2 (Aπ) are finitely generated, thenE n (Aπ) andGL n (Aπ) are finitely presented.
