Zusammenfassung
Extrakte der mastzellenreichen Haut einer Mastocytosis und einer Urticaria pigmentosa sowie der Hautblaseninhalt und der Urin der Mastocytosis wurden untersucht. Außer Histamin, Tryptophan, Glutaminsäure und einigen nicht näher identifizierten basischen und neutralen Aminosäuren wurde mit einer der hochspannungselektrophoretischen Methoden und der chemischen Reaktionen entsprechenden Wahrscheinlichkeit 5-Hydroxytryptophan in den Hautextrakten sowie im Hautblaseninhalt nachgewiesen. 5-Hydroxytryptamin (Serotonin) konnte dagegen nicht in dem genannten Untersuchungsmaterial festgestellt werden. Die 5-Hydroxyindolessigsäure-Ausscheidung im Urin einer diffusen Mastocytose war normal. Die mögliche Bedeutung des 5-Hydroxytryptophans wurde diskutiert.
