Zusammenfassung
Im Tierexperiment wird die lokale Wirkung des Vitamin A auf den Knochen der Labyrinthkapsel untersucht. Ohne zusätzliche entzündliche Reaktion bleibt der Knochen unbeeinflußt. Wenn sich aber perifokal gebildetes zellreiches Granulationsgewebe auf den Knochen der Labyrinthkapsel legt, kommt es zu deutlicher osteoklastischer Knochenarrosion. Dieser Knochenabbau ist in der Versuchsserie mit Vitamin A ausgeprägter als in der Kontrollgruppe mit alleinigem unspezifischem Entzündungsreiz. Die Möglichkeit einer Beeinflussung des Otoskleroseherdes durch Vitamin A wird diskutiert.
