Abstract
Frequency-domain based methods are not valid to analyze a nonlinear microwave circuit with general, arbitrary nonlinearities. Therefore, analysis of nonlinear microwave circuits in time-domain is presented. Subharmonics and instabilities can be predicted. As examples, Josephson junction and the Schottkybarrier mixer diode are discussed.
