Computation of matching characteristics between rectangular coupled cavity and waveguide for millimeter wave TWT's

Abstract

A rectangular coupled cavity slow wave structure is a new type of circuit for high power millimeter wave TWTs in recent years. Matching characteristics of trasition between rectangular coupled cavity and waveguide are calculated by equivalent circuit method. The results obtained by this method are compared with experiments and it is shown that useful accuracy can be obtained.
