Stereoselectivity observed in cross metathesis of cis- and trans-2-butene with 1-butene over Re2O7/Al2O3 catalyst

Abstract

Cross metathesis of cis- and trans-2-butene with 1-butene was studied over Re2O7/Al2O3 catalyst in a recirculation system at 313 K. Formation of ethylene and hexenes was inhibited by 2-butenes; formation of propene and pentene proceeded without induction from trans- and with induction from cis-2-butene and 1-butene. Selective formation of trans-2-pentene was observed from trans-2-butene, but no such selectivity was characteristic for cis-isomers.

Перекрестный обмен цис- и транс-2-бутена с 1-бутеном на катализаторе Re2O7/Al2O3 был исследован в рециркулирующей системе при 313 К. образование этилена и гексенов было ингибировано 2-бутенами; образование пропена и пентена протекает без ингибирования из транс-формы и с ингибированием из цис-2-бутена и 1-бутена. Наблюдалось селективное оброзование транс-2пентена из транс-2-бутена, однако, для цис-изомеров такой селективности не наблюдалось.
