Application of a closeable sampling trap in catalytic pulse experiments

Abstract

A closeable sampling trap is described which can be used in catalytic pulse experiments to trap substance pulses and to store them until gas chromatographic analysis is performed. All hydrocarbons including methane may be trapped quantitatively from the carrier gas stream. The GC equipment is removed from the pulse apparatus which has a favorable effect on methods and timing of the experiments. The traps were employed in an investigation of the reduction of a chromia/alumina catalyst.

Описана закрываемая пробоотборная ловушка, с помощью которой можно улавливать и хранить до проведения ГХ анализа импулясы веществ в импульсных каталитических экспериментах. Все углеводороды, включая метан, могут быть количественно уловлены из потока газа-носителя. Оборудование ГХ быделяется из импульсной схемы, что дает преимущества в методике и временной организации экспериментов. Ловушки были использованы в исследовании восстановления алюмо-хромового катализатора.
